"I know we made a major capital purchase putting CowKühlerZ System in but the benefits have been huge and immediate.
Wasted feed costs money when the cows don’t eat it. We use to throw away so much feed in the summer, now they eat it all.
We have less lameness because they were off their feet, Laying down and resting.

"We installed the CowKühlerZ system in 2016. Since then heat stress has been taken out of the equation. The cows core body temperature is maintained and she never goes into heat stress. This has had a major ripple effect that we didn’t always see immediately but has had a major, positive impact to our operation.
The system is fully automated which is a real bonus. The THI in the barn is being monitored 24/7 and the system adjusts itself automatically. No matter how busy our day gets we know that the cows are being kept cool in their stalls. We can focus on what needs our attention because the CowKühlerZ System is working to keep the cows cool. That means a lot to our operation.
We have noticeably better calves; they are born heavier and they are outperforming their sisters from years prior to the CowKühlerZ system being put in the dry cow area. They seem to hit the ground running.
(Metabolic issues like Ruminal Acidosis, ketosis, twisted stomach and milk fever just don’t happen anymore). Metabolically we don’t have any issues anymore after installing the CowKühlerZ system the late pregnant and early lactation cows are healthy and performing very well. This is a significant improvement and has had a great impact on our operation.
Our somatic cell count has stayed where it always was prior to installing the CowKühlerZ system. The addition of the fine droplets over the stalls has had no effect on our somatic cell count. The droplets evaporate quickly and the stalls don’t get wet. The cows are lying in their stalls where we want them.
We have had a significant improvement in our instance of Fall Lameness. We used to treat about 10% of our heard and that’s down significantly to about 3%. Once the older cows with chronic hoof health issues left the herd, this improvement became glaringly obvious. That’s a benefit that we weren’t expecting but that can definitely be attributed directly to the CowKühlerZ system.
Preventing Heat Stress has had a ripple effect on our operations. The difference weren’t immediately noticeable but over the coarse of a few years they become very apparent. It’s a full circle, the cows are more comfortable they are performing better and we are a more successful operation because of our decision to go with CowKühlerZ."

"We found the CowKuhlerZ, we installed them, and that was the solution, immediately the heat stress pretty much went away. We did not see production go down. We aren’t making wet floors; we aren’t making wet feed. You can put fans and water over stalls; you can put them over feed bunks, you can really get a full bang for your buck by having water everywhere. You’ll find usually that CowKuhlerZ will pay themselves off in one to three years. This little 32” fan will blow up to 70’. It’s a simple controller, you don’t have labour, you don’t have to flip the fans on and off, it’s automated, it runs, and you walk away from it. If you can put a system in that controls itself, that, for the most part, is maintenance-free, that’s always a good system."

"Before installing the CowKühlerZ system we had trouble with the cows bunching in certain areas of the dry cow pen. Since installing the system the cows are no longer bunching, they are laying in the stalls more and are much more content.
